HO HO HO! Farewell 2011!
The lovely Jo has been making mincemeat of the competition, cooking up a storm and keeping us fed on her delicious, home-made mince pies – I think she might be fattening us up for Christmas! And so the in-office battle for the last mince pie begins, who will win?! My money is on CEO David Ajose, as he always likes to be the ‘santa’ of attention! A quick summary of the Office Market! The Nottingham office market has proved to relatively resilient in 2011, despite the fragile state of the EU and continuing economic turbulence. What can we expect from 2012? Exeid have nothing but big plans for the year to come, and will continue to grow and thrive. The challenging market will provide excellent opportunities for both occupiers and investors, as the varied nature of our available space means occupiers will continue to secure flexible leases for exceptional value for money! 2011 Highlights 2011 has been a dramatic year for many reasons, here are a few ‘stand-out’ moments!: We can’t not mention the Royal Wedding – Kate and Wills got hitched, we all had a party and people are still talking about THAT dress (and THAT sister!) political figures Muammar Ghaddafi, Kim Jong Il and Osama Bin Laden have all lost their lives this year, as well as Apple Visionary Steve jobs and soul artist Amy Winehouse. millions of people took to the streets, across the country, to clean up the aftermath from the Summer Riots, showing an exceptional level of community spirit and pride. Adele’s album 21 became the biggest selling album of all time, selling 3.4million copies this year, knocking Amy Winehouse’s back to black off the top spot – and who can forget her stunning and emotional performance of Someone Like You at the Brits, this year? Charlie Sheen solidified his reputation as loveable lunatic, producing viral Youtube videos, acting strangely in interviews, becoming the first person to gain 1million Twitter followers in 24 hours and by generally acting outrageously! David Ajose, Exeid CEO, found it far too difficult to pick just one 2011 highlight for Exeid Commercial Property Consultancy, as it’s been such a rewarding year for both company and clients – each venture has bought its own reward and challenges to overcome, which we have relished and enjoyed, thoroughly. We hope ‘yule’ have a Merry Christmas!
