How to use twitter for business. Tips and techniques

Exeid have decided to embrace Twitter and a few weeks ago we started Tweeting. We had previously set up an account a couple of years ago but we had no real idea how we should be using it. As a result it laid pretty much dormant until a couple of weeks ago. So if you want to know ‘How to use Twitter for business’ then read on. Well, to connect with clients or potential customers or even just people interested in what we were doing  (although in the process we seem to have attracted some pretty random followers too!).  It would also seem that many of you have not yet connected with us on Twitter so don’t be shy, click on our page and follow us @exeid & we’ll certainly follow you back. Maybe we’ll even retweet your articles (tweets) to our growing follower base (last count over 700). We didn’t realise that it could become a really useful tool for communicating and sharing ideas with people and gaining feedback and learning new things. In addition it’s a useful research tool. To be fair though we’ve only scratched the surface and today we decided to search for a useful general overview of how it works (Yes – I know – I should have done this a few weeks ago but hey who reads the manual before they get stuck??) PS proof that Twitter & social media works, comes from the fact that an old client of mine posted a link to his website on his twitter account. This link took me to his website where he referred to the this slide show posting .. As a result Ive re engaged with my old client. Great news and all thanks to Twitter!
