Exeid News
I was chatting to Nick Pigott &  Joze Henderson (Our Exeid.com Leicester Area Management team) on Thursday and Nick mentioned ‘Google Plus’ (G+) and asked me if I was up to speed with the latest developments. Now I don’t know about you, but I like to think that I keep pace with many of the new developments on the web even if I’m not always the earliest of adopters. However, this one had completely passed me by. Amazing when you think that I’m a daily user of the Google search tool. So for those of you who are already familiar with Google + or Google Plus feel free to skip this post but be sure to revisit as I m certain Facebook will have something to say in reply. What is a riot?

Exeid News
What is a riot? According to law, a riot is where 12 or more persons who are present together use or threaten unlawful violence for a common purpose and the conduct of them (taken together) is such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for his or her personal safety, each of the persons using unlawful violence for the common purpose is guilty of riot. Only persons who do anything are guilty of riot, so you could prosecute just 1 person as long as you can prove another 11 were threatening but didn’t physically do anything. They would then still be guilty of other public order offences. A person guilty of riot is liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for a term…

Expect the unexpected – London’s Burning – Riots & Looting?

Exeid News, Nottingham, Uncategorized
The recent riots throughout London and now further afield have raised many questions that affect us all. For owners of businesses and  business premises,  these questions now include  how to prepare  for the potential disorder that appears to be spreading throughout our urban centres. I am certain that many conversations are focused around how this disorder could  happen on such a scale and without any apparent warning but the more important question is why?  The "middle class" riots following the cuts in student tuition fees and now the "urban poor" riots  and low morale in the Police Force due to impending cuts are merely symptoms of a wider malaise in which Nero fiddles whilst Rome Burns. However, think about who may have somthing to gain  from this situation  and what the cause/effect  result…

NHS move into St Nicholas Court under Barbara Henson’s Supervision.

Case Studies, Client Profile, Commercial Property, Exeid News, Nottingham, Office space, Parking, serviced office space
[caption id="attachment_412" align="alignleft" width="300" caption="St Nicholas Court"][/caption] Following the recent Government spending review the NHS have been ordered to reorganise and streamline their services  and find space for the NHS 'Rethink Project', Nottinghamshire Healthcare have been looking for a new site that met these  new requirements. The space needed to be  DDA compliant, modern and comfortable office space, whilst remaining within the financial budgetary restraints set by the review. A tall order  you might think, not with Exeid’s experience. In difficult economic  times many organisations  tend to migrate to the suburbs in a bid save on property prices, however, with travel economics as they are today there really isn’t much to be gained in this aproach.  In addition, organisations need to take into account the fact that the city centre  is the…
